Weddington Studios was built for the hours when the songs actually happen. Four rooms in the NoHo Arts District, each one designed around its own light, from $20 an hour, with your name already printed on a parking spot when you pull up.
Why the best takes happen at night
Daytime sessions fight the world: traffic, phone calls, the clock. At night the city goes quiet, the room gets smaller in the best way, and there is nothing left but you and the take. That is why our whole identity is after dark. The Phantom runs a fiber optic starfield across the ceiling. The Vault wraps you in neon portal rings. The Weddington glows like a speakeasy at 2 AM even at 2 PM. These rooms were designed for night people.
Every room runs the same chain no matter the hour: a Neve 1073 preamp into a Tube-Tech CL1B tube compressor, Pro Tools 2024, and the full plugin suite. See the complete equipment list. Late does not mean lesser.
Four studios, open all night
What a late session costs
The published rates hold at night, and they start lower than most LA rooms charge at noon:
- The Phantom at $30/hr, or an 8 hour block for $210
- The Weddington at $30/hr, or an 8 hour block for $210
- The Brick Room at $25/hr, or an 8 hour block for $170
- The Vault at $20/hr, or an 8 hour block for $135
A deposit holds any room once approved, house engineers can be requested from $25 an hour, and the full breakdown lives on the pricing page. No night surcharge, no hidden fees.
How overnight lockouts work
The studio is open 24 hours and the whole calendar is bookable from the booking page: pick your day, tap any start time (2 AM included), and slide to your end time, up to 16 hours in one run. Sessions roll past midnight without a phone call. Prefer a human anyway? Call or text (626) 216-5965 and the studio will set it up. Nothing is charged until your request is approved.
NoHo after dark, handled
The studio sits on Weddington St in the heart of the NoHo Arts District. Your parking spot is secured and printed with your name before you arrive, the lounge is stocked, and late food in the Arts District is a short walk, not a drive. Come in, park, create, leave with the record. That is the entire late night experience we built.

Yes. The studio is open 24 hours and every hour is bookable online: pick your day, tap any start time, and slide out to 16 hours if the record needs it.
Do late night sessions cost more?+
No. The published rates hold at every hour: rooms from $20 an hour, 8 hour blocks from $135, and longer lockouts bill the extra hours at the regular hourly rate.
Is parking safe for late sessions?+
Yes. Every session gets a secured spot with your name printed on the sign, steps from the door, no street parking after dark.
Can I bring my own engineer at night?+
Always. Run the room yourself, bring your engineer, or request a house engineer from $25 an hour.
